How it all started...

Hey everyone,

I am so excited to be here with you all and to begin to share a little bit of my story with you. So this is kind of how it all started for me, and how I began to get orders. When I was 13 years old, I decided that I would love to create a rosette cake, I had no idea how to make one I just knew that they were beautiful. At that time I didn't know much about cakes that were made from scratch either, but I knew exactly how to make a boxed cake mix. So at that time, I made a vanilla cake from one cake mix. Once I felt like I had followed all of the steps correctly, I began to decorate. Yes, I was able to create a rosette design, however the cake turned out nothing close to what I had imagined. It was short, lopsided, and none of the rosettes were the same size.

I was quite honestly not happy with it. My mom, happened to snap a photo of it (which I no longer have) and shared it on her Facebook page. It got amazing feedback, people loved it and began to ask me if I would be interested in making cakes for their events. From there it grew. I began to have lots of orders, and great feedback which thrilled me and made my love for baking grow even more. From the very beginning, I have had the best support that has come from my family, friends, and many others. God has given me this gift that I am beyond thankful for, and I give him all the glory and praise for allowing me to have this beautiful opportunity in life.
